Personally I believe Kim's makes the best Pho in Sacramento. I have been trying tons of places due to my love for this soup. Her chicken Pho is awesome and definitely my favorite lunch time meal twice a week during the winter months. All the other food served here is great, but the Pho is defiantly worth your time in trying.
Amazing Vietnamese cuisine here in central Sacramento. Authentic flavours and generous portions made this meal very memorable. Service was great and efficient at the same time. No regrets!
This is my favorite place for banh mi in Sacramento! They actually have the correct ratio of meat to veg in the sandwiches! Also their pho and rice/noodle plates are amazing too. The place is small but the service is fast and friendly. I try to come here every time I'm downtown!
I love this place! When we walked up to the restaurant there was a line out the door and we almost left but SO glad we waited (and we didn’t have to wait very long)! Quick service, generous portions and reasonable prices. The chicken and shrimp pho was rich and flavorful and the chicken/shrimp were both super tender. My husband had the beef pho and said the same, delicious rich broth and perfectly cooked beef. We don’t live in Sacramento but anytime we are passing through we will be stopping for lunch at Kim’s Restaurant :)
I've been working downtown for almost 20 years and this whole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant is one of my favorite go-to places for lunch. It is very small inside with limited seating in the front and some more seating in the back. If you do go just expect to be a line out the door. It's the same family who was owned and operated the place for many years. Be sure to try there Vietnamese sandwiches and beef noodle soup which they are famous for. The beef noodle soup is a huge serving. If you aren't feeling well or just want some delicious authentic beef noodle soup, this is the place for you. You can get a large Vietnamese sandwich for under 10. 10. You can get six large egg rolls for under 7
When I worked downtown this was the one of the only lunch spots I trusted with my meal out. The sandwiches are so tasty, meat tastes freshly cooked and the bread is soft and flaky. The pickles have a good flavor as well and are not bland at all. Seriously good food. The soup is nice too!
8.99 banh mi sandwich. Is this the best value lunch in the grid?! HUGE portion. Lots of meat inside. Packed with pickled veggies and fresh herbs. Sliced jalapeno for kick. I tried pork and chicken today--and had a hard time finishing two halves plus I have an entire sandwich for tomorrow! Pork is probably my favorite since it is flavorful and moist. Chicken was a close second, leaner but also great. Bread was perfect and fresh. Guy at the register was talkative and friendly. I saw the woman in the kitchen listening for my order. By the time I paid, both my sandwiches were ready and wrapped to go in the window. I am so impressed with their service--especially for lunchtime it was so speedy! They accept cash and card payments. And convenient bike parking right in front.
Authentic Viet Pho Broth!!! Small and hidden restaurant so space for dine in is limited. But the food is worth it.
